Privacy policy.
Privacy policies that nobody can read aren't worth much, so we wrote this one in plain language. Here is exactly what we do with your data, and the stuff we don't do with it either.
What we collect
Your email, if you choose to give it to us. The photos you upload. Your zip code, which we need for regional pricing. And your payment info, which Stripe handles. We never see or store your card number.
What we don't collect
No analytics cookies. No Facebook pixel. No cross-site tracking. No behavioral profile. If this sounds too good, we get it. Open your browser's network tab and check.
Your photos
We keep them 90 days so you can pull up old quotes, then the system deletes them. Processed in-region (US-East if you're in the United States). Never used to train models. Never shared with contractors, or anyone else.
Payment data
Stripe handles it. On our end we see a line item that says "$2.99 paid" with your email attached. That's the whole thing. No card numbers. No expiration dates. No CVV codes. No billing addresses. Stripe does all of that. They're very good at it.
Your rights
You can wipe all your data from the dashboard any time. You can export everything as JSON. You can opt out of marketing email, even though we don't send any. If any of those options are ever broken, email us and we will fix it the same day.
Cookies
One session cookie, used to keep you logged in. That is the whole list. No analytics cookies. No third-party tracking. No consent banner, because there's nothing to consent to.
Third parties
Stripe for payments. Vercel for hosting. OpenAI for the vision model, called without account linkage or user identifiers. That's the complete list. If we ever bring in another vendor we'll update this page and email you.
Data retention
Photos are kept for 90 days, then deleted. Quote records are kept for 1 year and then deleted too, unless you've explicitly saved them to your dashboard. When we say deleted, we mean it. No shadow copy sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
Changes
If we change this policy, we email you before the new version takes effect. No silent updates. No "by continuing to use the service you agree" tricks.
