Terms of service.
The rules for using Pic2Quote. We kept them short and in plain English, because you should be able to read the thing you're agreeing to.
What you're buying
A cost estimate, generated by AI, based on the photo you upload. It's an estimate. Not a guarantee. Real contractor quotes will move around based on materials, labor rates, availability, regional demand, and whatever the contractor's truck needs that week.
What we promise
A quote in under 60 seconds. A confidence score on every estimate. An automatic refund whenever that score drops below 2 out of 5. Accuracy within 20% on average, for quotes rated 4 or higher.
What we don't promise
Exact prices. Current material availability. Live contractor rates in your specific zip code. Structural calls. Anything a licensed professional should be inspecting in person. If a wall looks suspicious, call someone who can actually touch the wall.
Refunds
Automatic when the confidence score lands below 2 out of 5. Discretionary if the quote was off by more than 50% and you can show us the actual contractor number. Email the contact form with the details. We sort it out the same day.
Your content
Your photos are yours. You give us a limited license to process them for the narrow purpose of generating your quote. After 90 days they're deleted. We do not train models on them. We do not sell them. We do not hand them to contractors or marketing partners.
Acceptable use
Don't upload photos of people without their permission. Don't upload copyrighted material that isn't yours. Don't treat this as a structural engineering report, or as legal or medical advice, or as a stand-in for any licensed professional whose job is to stand in front of the thing in person.
Limitation of liability
Pic2Quote estimates are informational. Don't make a big financial decision off a $2.99 photo estimate alone. Get a licensed contractor to quote the work before you sign anything. We aren't liable for bad contractor decisions made on top of our data. Our total liability, in any case, caps at whatever you paid us, which for most of you is a few dollars.
Termination
You can delete your account any time from the dashboard. We can suspend accounts that abuse the system, try to scrape pricing data at scale, or otherwise behave in a way that makes our infrastructure bill look weird.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. Pic2Quote is a DBA registered in Colorado. Operated out of Denver.
Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we email you before they take effect. We do not sneak updates through in the middle of the night.
