No magic. No black box. Five steps, in order, every single time. Here is the pipeline, upload to PDF.

A vision model looks at the image and identifies the stuff in it. Kitchen sink, cracked grout, water heater, peeling paint, the works. Then it classifies the project type. This is where most generic AI tools fall over. They spot the sink and miss the corroded supply line under it, which is the thing you were actually going to fix.
Once the project has a type, we estimate scope. Materials, labor hours, skill level. All of it comes out of a dataset of 180,000+ real contractor invoices. We pulled them from anonymized job boards, auction receipts, and users who sent theirs in.
Prices swing wildly from one zip code to the next. We adjust both materials and labor for your location using BLS wage data plus local Home Depot and Lowe's SKU prices we pull every week.
Out the other end: a range (low to high), a materials list with links, a labor hour estimate, and a confidence score. That score is honest. 5/5 for common projects we've seen thousands of times. 2/5 for one-offs we haven't figured out yet. Below 2 and the quote is free, no argument.
